This title is awarded for the dual attainment of being recognized as an exemplary player and a progressive leader in the development of future players (2005 US Nationals Program Booklet).

The National Grand Yo-Yo Masters are the greatest players who also have contributed to the Yo-Yo community for their whole lifetime.
